Launched a backup and recovery feature so you can regain access to your Nyx account if you lose access to your passkeys. This is a part of our commitment to making Nyx a safe and secure place to leave your funds.
We launched Nyx Alpha v5 on the new and improved Aztec Alpha Mainnet v5! Access is still gated and Mainnet deposits are still capped as we (and Aztec) use this time to identify and fix issues, improve the user experience, and add features before moving to beta and then GA. That said, we will be steadily opening up access to more and more users over the course of Alpha v5.We’ve been hard at work on making Nyx better. Recent updates include modals that are easier to use and have helpful information like current and past Earn APY. Also, a more robust relayer architecture for handling private account Ethereum Aave interactions and sends to Ethereum.Stay tuned as we’ll be rolling out new features in the coming weeks. Next major milestones are Nyx and Aztec Alpha v6 sometime this fall, and tentatively Beta early next year.
We’ve been hard at work on improvements! We’ve deployed a major app UI update to make Nyx both intuitive to use and, we think, stylish. We’ve overhauled our docs to give information about how Nyx works, how private it is, and more.We’ve also worked on under-the-hood improvements to make Nyx run seamlessly without issues for our users, and have more improvements planned. Finally, we have some new features we’re working on that we aim to launch between now and the launch of Aztec’s next version upgrade, currently planned for mid-July.Around that mid-July timeframe we plan to hand out some more invite codes! We’ve gotten a ton of great feedback (thanks!) and made many, many changes.Given our progress and the level of interest in what we’re building, we’ve upgraded Nyx from the prototype to the preview stage. We continue to gather feedback, make improvements, and add new features. Our aim is to launch the alpha version of Nyx around the time of Aztec Mainnet launch, initally invite-only and later opening it to everyone.Follow us on X for updates.
